When I sat down to etch out what a perfect day would be for me, two things that came up. I would work for myself and my work would involve world travel. My five year vision for LadyDrinks is to host an event in every major city of the world with a view to build a global network. If you travel as far as Seoul, South Korea, or as local as San Francisco, there is a thoughtful and engaged woman you can engage there.
Friday, April 12th, LadyDrinks hosts one of the first in this global series. We joins hands with Paris For Her, a networking organization in Paris, to host a docent-led private tour of the Louvre of women-only artists.
Previously, we hosted two tours of the Metropolitan Museum of Art of women-only artists and one tour at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC. Now we go to the source: Four French women were granted entry into the prestigious Academy in Paris for formal training at a time when women didn’t become painters.
Afterwards, we enjoy drinks in the Richelieu Wing of the Museum. While this is the anchor event for the Paris trip, there will be a dinner on Thursday April 11th for those arriving early. We head to the Loire Valley for wine tasting Saturday morning. Hotel and airfare bookings are your responsibility.
Book your ticket to the Louvre event here. Please note this event is limited to 10 women only.
I hope you will consider joining us!
Many of you have asked to meet one on one. Note that I’m hosting office hours at Luminary on Fridays. There is coffee and wine on tap! Book in to meet for either at this link here.
