What’s your ROI and why should you do it?
Our centerpiece January event focuses on how to leverage video for your business. Plus, your year-end financial checklist for your small business.
Research shows that video is becoming THE way that consumers are choosing to ingest their information.
- Marketing emails WITH VIDEO increase click-throughs by 200-300% (Forbes)
- Landing pages WITH EMBEDDED VIDEO increase conversation rates by 80% (HubSpot)
- If a website HAS VIDEO, people spend 88% more time on it (Oberlo)
Videos allow you to up the time spent by visitors to your website. You’re 53 times more likely show up first on Google if you have a video embedded on your website. It also prolongs engagement in a newsletter. As we head into the holidays, I’m experiementing with this video.
While good content is still king, video is the future. January 28th, 2020, Luminary hosts and I engage the CEO of Vimeo Anjali Sud on how to leverage and harness video for YOUR business.

JAN 21ST NEW YORK
I’m finally doing it.
The most common question I get asked by women is “How can I be a better public speaker?” It’s usually paired with (like you) I’ve done one on one coaching with women. But come January, I’m formalizing it a bit by offering a 6 week masterclass on the subject.
I’ve cut my teeth as a business anchor reporting from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. I had a series of screens around on the trading floor that informed me where the Dow, Nasdaq, oil and gold stood and a series of bullet points scratched on a piece of paper about the stocks I needed to talk about. I had to fashion all of this into a 2 or 3 minute cogent and compelling story for the airwaves, with usually with a commercial break to put it together. This experience has trained me to work fast and design a class to give you immediate results.

Let’s face it. Poring over your business numbers isn’t a sexy activity. I think of that line from “When Harry Met Sally” as Harry is quizzing Meg Ryan’s character about her exploits with Sheldon. Harry chides her that a man named Sheldon will do your income taxes. He may even do your root canal. But a man with that banal of a name couldn’t possibly be an exciting suitor.
Well our expert today on income taxes and financials isn’t named Sheldon and as you can see by the photo above—is not banal at all. In fact, as 2019 draws to a close, Yahaira Krahmer, founder of Account. Her shares her financial to-do’s for small business owners to tackle before 2020 arrives:
